TRANSPLANTE AUTÓLOGO DE TIREOIDE EM TECIDO ADIPOSO BRANCO. ESTUDO EXPERIMENTAL

O estudo objetivou avaliar a viabilidade e funcionalidade do autotransplante tireoidiano em tecido adiposo branco subcutâneo. O pesquisa foi aprovada pela CEUA/UNIFESO sob o n.º 509/19 para uso de 10 ratos (Rattus norvegicus), Wistar, machos, com idade de três meses e peso de 300 ± 22 g. Os animais foram distribuídos aleatoriamente em Grupo Controle (GC, n = 5), sem procedimento cirúrgico e colheita de sangue para determinação das concentrações séricas de T3 total, T4 livre e TSH aos 120 dias, e Grupo Transplantado (GT, n = 5), tireoidectomia total, seguida do implante autólogo imediato e avaliação hormonal similar ao GC. Após 120 dias, procedeu-se aos exames histológicos. Embora aos 40 dias tenha sido observada neovascularização no sítio do implante, ao final do período experimental, a histologia revelou esteatite linfoplasmocitária, fibrose e ausência do tecido implantado. Os valores hormonais no GT, demonstraram redução significante das concentrações de T4L, T3 total e aumento do hormônio hipofisário TSH, quando comparados ao GC (p < 0,05). O resultado evidenciou falha terapêutica e hipotireoidismo nos animais do GT. Embora o tecido adiposo branco esteja associado a produção de fatores pró-angiogênicos, este sítio não sugeriu ser suficiente em manter o controle homeostático do implante.
